With heavy hearts, the family of the late Gary George Thibodeau Sr. announces his passing after a brief illness, on Thursday, April 8, 2021 surrounded by his immediate family at the George Dumont Hospital in Moncton NB at the age of 77.
Born in Coal Creek, NB on November 14, 1943 son of the late John Glenn and Agnes (Taylor) Thibodeau. Gary is survived by his common-law spouse Catherine Fleet and her three sons, his previous spouse Evelyn (Meade) Thibodeau; his son Gary Thibodeau Jr. (Anna); and his daughter-in-law Angela Chase-Thibodeau. Gary is also survived by many brothers, sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and his fur baby Tia.
Besides his parents, Gary was predeceased by his son Timothy Wayne Thibodeau; several brothers, sisters and his fur baby Benji.
Family visitation will be held at the Chipman Funeral Home on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 2 – 4pm and Public visitation on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 6 – 8pm. Donations in memory of Gary made to the donor’s choice are appreciated by the family. Interment will be held at a later date.
