Passed away with family by his side at Billings Court Manor, on Friday, September 17, 2021, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Sheila (nee Johnston). Loving father of Brenda (Dan) Greene. Cherished grandfather of Caroline, Chloe and Hannah. Remembered by Christine (David) Henson. Survived by siblings Jim Fletcher (Pat Green), Mary Ellen (Al) Sunderland and Karen (Bruce) Jepsen. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the kind and compassionate care team at Billings Court Manor.
Visitation at SMITH’S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Sunday, September 26 from 3 – 5 p.m. and 7 – 9 p.m. In accordance with provincial regulations, there is a limit to the number of visitors who may attend at one time. Please RSVP in advance. A private funeral service will be held, followed by Interment at Burlington Memorial Gardens. For those who wish, donations in memory of Gary to Stroke Recovery Burlington/March of Dimes, or a charity of your choice, would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
