Garth Robert Cummings
1954-2021
Garth R. Cummings, 67, of Moncton and formerly of Shediac,
NB; passed away unexpectedly at his residence on
Sunday, June 27, 2021. Born in Charlottetown, PEI; he was
the son of the late Garfield (1992) and Catherine «Kay»
Cummings RN (2008)
Garth was a former employee of the Federal
Government, Superannuation Pension Center, Shediac and retired in
2013
Known for his sense of humour, he was a kind and gentle man
who was proud of his Prince Edward Island roots.
He will be forever in the hearts of his special cousin Wendy
Paquette of NS; his PEI cousins and by his very close net of friends
in the Moncton area as well as his fur baby, Molly.
Garth was the last surviving member of his immediate
family.
Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brother Craig
D. (2011)
A Celebration of Life will be held from Tuttle
Brothers Riverview Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 25, 2021
at 1:00pm with a reception to follow.
Honouring Garth’s wishes, cremation has taken place and his
ashes will be buried in the Cummings family lot at Hartsville
Cemetery, PEI.
Donations in Garth’s memory made to the CA-R-MA, PO Box 29131
Moncton, NB E1G 4R3 or the S.P.C.A. or to any Animal Rescue
would be appreciated.
