Gail Hicks
1946-2021
Gail Crystal Hicks, 75, of Salisbury,
passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Friday, December 17, 2021. Born
in Wheaton Settlement, she was the daughter of the late Medley and
Emma (Constantine) Wheaton.
Gail cherished her family more than anything. She
enjoyed helping raise her nieces and nephews, and was a devoted mother
to her own two children. Gail loved shopping, and the many dogs she
cared for over the years.
Survived and sadly missed by her
daughter, Valerie Hicks; son, Reginald «Scott» Hicks
(Dianne); sisters, Gloria McWilliam, and Garda Crossman (Gordon);
brother, Gerald Wheaton; brother-in-law, George Corey; as well as many
nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband, Reginald
Hicks; sister, Jocelyn Corey; brothers, Girvan and Gurney Wheaton; and
brother-in-law, David McWilliam.
The family wishes to thank Jason Wilson
and all his staff at The Silver Fox Care Home for the compassionate
care Gail received, always going above and beyond to make Gail feel
like family.
Interment will be held at the Pine Hill
Cemetery, Salisbury, at a later date. Arrangements in care of The
Salisbury Funeral Home (372-4800). If desired, in lieu of flowers,
memorials to the Moncton S.P.C.A. would be
appreciated.
