The death occurred peacefully at his home in Hampshire on Saturday, January 16, 2021 of Francis MacInnis. He was aged 93 years of Monticello, PE. Francis is predeceased by his dear wife Lillian (nee Flynn) and was the loving father to Evelyn MacInnis (Barry MacDonald), Clayton, Garry, Gordie MacInnis and Melanie Power (Kevin).
He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Timmy, Mallory, Cody (Valentina), Jesse (Dillon), Sarah, Lilly and great grandchildren Ava, Wilder, Riley and Flynn. Francis will also be deeply missed by Lynn Thompson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Josie Dan and Effie MacInnis, sisters Evelyn and Anna and granddaughter Natalie MacInnis.
Resting at Dingwell Funeral Home where visiting hours will take place for family only. A funeral mass will be held at the St. Margaret’s Roman Catholic Church with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Due to public health restriction all funeral services will be by invitation only. If so desired, donations in memory of Francis can be made to Diabetes Canada.
