Obituary of Flora Mae Shaw
It is with great sadness that the Shaw family shares of the passing of our beloved mother Flora Shaw who passed peacefully, on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at Port Perry Place in Port Perry, at age 87. Flora (nee Dunlop), beloved wife of the late Eldred Lee Shaw. Loving mother of Bob (Jean) of Victoria, B.C., Brenda Cavalier (Bob) of Nelson, B.C., Mark (Marion) of Port Perry, Kim (Deborah) of Victoria, B.C. and the late Brian. Loved grandmother of Pam, Careyann, Julie, Steven, Shawn, Dianne, Patty, Kara, Jennessa, (Elesha), James, Jason, Stephanie, Robert, Jesse, Joel, Joshua, Matt, Chris, Cheryl, Andrew, Matt, Kayla and 38 great grandchildren.
Flora was well known in her community and for her love of photography. She will be greatly missed. We wish to extend a special thank you to the many people in Port Perry who were a huge part in our mother’s day-to-day life including, but not limited to: Dr. Dayal, The Port Perry Place Nursing Home staff, all of the people at 61 Ash Street, Seniors Housing, especially Gerald & Verna Rowatt, and manager Debbie Tarbottom. Thank you.
Due to the current COVID-19 restrictions private arrangements have been entrusted to the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171). Interment Cartwright Union Cemetery, Blackstock. If desired, memorial donations may be made by cheque to the Port Perry Place Resident’s Activity Fund.
