FLEWELLING, Robinson “Bob” Emery
1936-2021
It is with deep sorrow that the family of Bob Flewelling announces his passing after a valiant battle with Myelofibrosis on June 8, 2021 at Covenant Health St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital, Edmonton, AB.
Born in Oak Point, King’s Co., N.B. on November 2, 1936, he was the son of the late Federson Flewelling and Edna (Graham) Flewelling.
Bob is survived by his children: Gerald (Marilyn) Flewelling of Quispamsis, NB, Deborah (Mike) Martin, Saint John, NB, Barbara Cowan, Miramichi, NB, Gordon (Rita) Flewelling, Kitchener, ON and Patricia (John) Gallant, Miramichi, NB; his step-daughter Susanne (Ross) Reid, Stony Plain, AB; his 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 6 step great-grandchildren; brother Joseph Flewelling, Saint John, NB; sister-in-law Gwen Flewelling, Woodlawn, ON: the mother of his children Michelle Allen as well as numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Besides his parents, Bob was predeceased by his 2nd wife Kitty Poula (Wendrup) Flewelling; sister Iona McCutcheon, brother Guy Flewelling and sister-in-law Edna Flewelling.
Special thanks to Ernie and Brenda Klita, Dr. Chris Gordillo, the nursing team at Westview Network Home Care, Ross and Susanne Reid and his treasured step-granddaughter Jennifer Reid-Aromin.
As per Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place and no visitation nor funeral service will be held.
