Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Everett Lionel McCullough which occurred at Shannex Tucker Hall on Friday, June 4th, 2021. Born in 1925, in St. Andrews, NB, he was the son of the late Lionel and Dora (Sales) McCullough. In his earlier years, Everett worked for NB Tel. He was Owner/Operator of Mac’s Cleaning for 30 years. Everett was a beloved member of the Carleton congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. He had a share in constructing and renovating Kingdom Halls of Jehovah’s Witnesses all across Atlantic Canada. He enjoyed playing sports with his friends such as hockey and golf. Everett was a kind man and a true gentleman who will be deeply missed by his friends and family. The family would like to thank the staff and friends from Shannex Tucker Hall for the exceptional care, kindness and support that was given to Everett.
Everett is survived by his loving and devoted wife Lorraine of 52 years; sons Greg McCullough of Miramichi, NB, Timothy McCullough (Kerry) of Grand Bay Westfield, NB; sisters Joyce Pinkham (Rodney) of East Holden, ME, Maxwella Douglas (Noel) of London, ON, Suella Hooper of St. Andrews, NB; 3 grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, Everett was predeceased by his sons Wayne, Everett and Lorne.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A Zoom Virtual Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 12th at 2 p.m. The meeting ID number is 97081825270 with passcode 693145.
