Eugene Frances Nugent
It is with great sadness that the family of Eugene Frances Nugent announces his passing at the Central Newfoundland Health Care Centre at Grand Falls-Windsor on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, age 73 years of St. Alban’s.
Eugene leaves to mourn his loving family: wife, Regina, married 50 years; daughter, Leann (Marcel Power) at Corner Brook; son, Keren (Julie) at Fort MacMurray, AB; grandchildren, Justin Nugent, Caitlyn Nugent, Jordan Nugent, Leah Organ and Lyndsay Organ; special pets, Tigger and Lily; brothers, Joseph Nugent (Sherri) at Edmonton, AB, Thomas Nugent (Barb) at Seal Cove, CBS and David Nugent (Ellen) at St. Alban’s; sisters, Marie McFarland (Dale) at Toronto, ON, Helen Eason at Manuels, NL, Margaret Lee at Goulds, Suzanne Peters (Brian) at New Brunswick, Rosalind MacNeil (Jermone) at Edmonton, AB and Kathy Gaulton (Ambrose) at St. Alban’s; sister in law, Mary Nugent at St. Alban’s; as well as a circle of other relatives and friends.
Predeceased by parents, Mary and Hughie Nugent; brother, Ronald Nugent; sisters, Mary Nugent, Rita Carrol and Daphne Nugent; brothers in law, Shirley Eason and Gus Lee.
Visitation will take place at Spencer’s Funeral Home at St. Alban’s on Thursday, July 15 and Friday, July 16 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm both days.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm at St. Ignatius Roman Catholic Church at St. Alban’s with Father Patrick Ousji officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, St. Alban’s.
