At his home on Friday, April 23, 2021. Eric McDonell of Bridge End; age 75 years. Beloved husband of Jocelyn McDonell (nee Collette). Loving father of Christie McDonell-Viau (Patrick) and Nicholas McDonell (Anna Kinloch). Proud grandfather of Ava and Matthew Viau; and Gracie Lou and Quinn McDonell. Dear brother of Andrea McDonell of Sault Ste. Marie, Rosemary Daniels (Brian) of Georgia, Sheila Dow-Cadieux (Jack) of Long Sault, and Rita McDonell of Kingston. Predeceased by his parents Stanley Leo McDonell and Lucille ‘Lou’ Besner; also by one brother George McDonell (Hilda of Cornwall) and one brother-in-law Gary Dow. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. S., Alexandria (613-525-2772). A private graveside committal will be held in the St. Margaret of Scotland Parish cemetery, Glen Nevis. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Cornwall Hospice would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Eric a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows-memories live.
