In loving memory of Elsim Gerard Lalonde, 86 years; Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021 at his home, with loving family at his side. Beloved husband of Cora Lalonde (née Arseneau). Loving father of Debbie predeceased 2018, Terry (Cheryle), and Bernie. Cherished grandfather of Keith, Sarah (Matthew), Amanda (Nathan), David (Lindsey), Sharon, Chris (Jessica), Matthew (Amanda), and great-grandchildren Samuel, Jakob, Josiah, Evie, Emily, Cali, Colton, Charli, and Jagger. Loving son of Adolph and Cecile (née Marcotte) Lalonde both predeceased. Dear brother of Ron, Jeannette, Dolores, Georgette, Gary, and Lawrence predeceased 2018. Sadly missed by nieces and nephews. Elsim was a miner at INCO with 40 years of service. He was a volunteer fire fighter for 35 years at Minnow Lake. He enjoyed fishing and curling. Elsim will be remembered as a hard worker and a kind person. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Northern Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. A Memorial Mass will be held at the Holy Redeemer Church, 1887 Bancroft Dr., Sudbury at a later date. No public funeral visitation. Cremation.
