Obituary for Else Bloch (nee Hahn)
The Lord has called Else home, following a brief illness.
Beloved wife of Waldemar for 69 years. Survived by daughter Rita and son Harry, sister Lydia Schniete and brother Robert Hahn, both in Germany, and many nieces and nephews who called her their favourite aunt.
Else was the eldest daughter of 10 siblings born to Emma (née Geister) and Eduard Hahn.
She was loving and generous, humble and kind, and filled our lives with joy and laughter.
Else was an active member of Mission Baptist Church-Hamilton, for over 60 years, and served her Lord with gladness.
“Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His faithful servants.” Psalm 116:15
We would like to thank the doctors and staff at Juravinski Hospital for their kindness in this difficult time.
The funeral service will be held at Mission Baptist Church, 100 North Oval, Hamilton, Ontario on Monday August 19, 2021 at 1 p.m. Interment Woodland Cemetery, 700 Spring Gardens Road, Burlington, ON.
Due to Covid restrictions, attendance at the church is limited. Please call Circle of Life Cremation and Burial Centre to register at 905-628-8558.
