Obituary of Elmer Peter Becker
November 23, 1930 – September 9, 2021
Elmer went home to Jesus on September 9, 2021, at the age of 90.
Elmer was born to Peter and Catherine Becker in Estonia, Saskatchewan. His family moved to Yahk when Elmer was in his early teens. There he bought and operated a gravel truck. While filling with gas at Ta Ta Creek, he met the love of his life Hilda Moore. In a short time, they were married, and had four children in three years, Jackie (Alan), Valorie (Bob), Kim (Judy), and Tim (Shirley).
Elmer wore many different hats and wore them well. He was an RCMP Auxiliary for many years, he retired from Columbia Natural Gas and then became an ordained minister. He loved the Lord and gave it his all.
He has many grandchildren, extended grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Elmer was predeceased by his parents, one sister, one brother, his wife Hilda, one son-in-law, and one grandson.
He will be greatly missed by those who knew him.
