Elmer W Morrell
1937-2021
Elmer Morrell of Havelock passed away suddenly at The Moncton
Hospital on Saturday, July 10, 2021. Born on Sept. 7, 1937 he was
raised in Salisbury and was the son of the late John and Vivian
(Steeves) Morrell.
Elmer retired from Canada Post after 25 years of service. He
loved being outside, fishing, hunting, four wheeling or out at a
buddy’s camp. He was a man who enjoyed a hands-on approach
to life. He will be remembered as a jokester and good neighbour. He
always had a joke for anyone he met and no one was a stranger to him.
He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone.
He is survived by his daughter Sandra, sons: Michael, and
Earl (Dysart), sister Audrey Brereton. Besides his parents, he was
predeceased by his much-loved wife Isabell (Gray), his brothers:
James, John, and sister Mary (Nicolle).
His family will be receiving friends and relatives on Friday
July 16,2021 from 12:00 pm until time of service. A service
celebrating his life will take place Friday, July 16,2021 at 1:00 pm
at Cobb’s Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 330 Whitepine
Road, Riverview (869-2007) with the Venerable Archdeacon Brent Ham
presiding. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society
would be appreciated by his family. Interment will take
place at the Elmwood Cemetery. For those wishing to attend
