Ellen Paradis (nee McIsaac)
December 26, 1928 -July 7, 2021
With remorse the family of Ellen Paradis announces her death at the age of 92.
She was an independent, determined, vibrant, curious woman who strove to broaden her horizons and those of her family and the students she taught as an elementary school teacher, art teacher and reading specialist. She was passionate in her love of animals, especially her Doberman Pinschers. She loved art, both as an artist and as an observer. Her gardens gave pleasure to all. Sweets, and especially chocolate, gave her great pleasure, even when no other food appealed to her. Those of us in her family have benefited from the pleasure that these passions (a love of dogs, of flowers and, of course, of chocolate) give.
She is missed by us all–her children, Carmen (Brian McGrath), Donald (Judy), and David (Joyce), by her grandchildren Christopher, Danielle Edwards, and Melissa Smith, by her great grandchildren and by her siblings, Verna Theroux, Richard and Francis (Bing).
In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine at 52 Campus Dr, Saskatoon, SK S7N 5B4 or your preferred animal care/rescue organization.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Nos plus sincères sympathies à la famille et aux amis de Ellen Paradis 2021..
