Margaret Ellen Hart
August 22, 1941 – September 11, 2021
Ellen Hart passed away at St. Lawrence Lodge, on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the age of 80 years. Beloved wife of Michael Hart and cherished mother of Jennifer (Patrick Fortier) and Steven (Marjorie). Proud grandmother of Gabrielle, Benjamin, Jacob and Henry. Survived by her brother Patrick (Donna), many loving cousins and lifetime friends. Predeceased by her parents Josephine and Edward McDonnell.
Ellen was a faithful member of St. John Bosco Catholic Parish. She enjoyed being with family and friends and time at her cottage which she designed. Ellen was a gardener who loved day lilies, having one named after her. She was an accomplished knitter and her Irish sweaters were sought after far and wide. Ellen loved the adventure of travel and visited many countries in Asia, Europe, Central and South America. Her favorite holiday destination was always Costa Rica.
Family, friends, and parishioners are invited to a Funeral Mass for Ellen, this Friday, September 17, 2021, at 11:00 AM, St. John Bosco Church, 175 Windsor Dr., Brockville.

Heartfelt thanks to the wonderful staff of St. Lawrence Lodge whose care, compassion and friendship for Ellen was extraordinary.
