Ella Kinney
1925-2021
Ella Kinney of Plaster Rock, NB, passed away peacefully at Hotel Dieu
St. Joseph Hospital on April 19, 2021.
Ella was born in Cap-Pelé, NB, on January 25, 1925. She was the
daughter of the late Phillippe and Annette Cormier. Ella leaves behind
her daughters, Caroline Martin Brewer (Wayne) of Fredericton, NB,
Connie Edwards of Plaster Rock, NB, Marie Blair (Maynard) of
Arthurette, NB, Janet Kinney (Jeannie) of Plaster Rock, NB; her son,
Sterling Kinney of Terrace, BC; 16 grandchildren, 26 great
grandchildren, and seven great great grandchildren.
Ella was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Walter Kinney; her
daughters, Judy Kinney and Pearl George; her sons, Donald, Dale,
Keith, and Roland Kinney; her sisters, Aline Cormier, Edith Bourgeois,
Regina Noel, and Bertha Cormier; her brother, Robert Cormier.
Resting at the Tobique Chapel in Plaster Rock, NB, with visitation on
Tuesday from 6-8 pm. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 21,
2021 at 1 pm from the Tobique Chapel. Father Gilbert Doddatto
officiating. Interment will follow in the Plaster Rock Community
Cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Keeper of the Light Food
Bank, the Victoria County SPCA, or the Canadian Diabetes Association
would be appreciated by the family.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, a maximum of 60 people are allowed
in the chapel at any given time and masks are mandatory.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
