Eleanor passed away at Lombard Manor on Wednesday April 8th, 2021 at the age of 94 years. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Ken, son Christopher, grandson Michael Whyte, 5 sisters and 7 brothers. Eleanor will be sadly missed by her sons, daughters and their families; Dan (late Karen) and their family Kate, Tim (Mark) and Emily (Paul), daughter Donna (Ken) Carnrite and their family Christina (Bill) Robbie, James (Michelle) Jackson, Ella and Carson, daughter Cindy (Jim) Whyte and their family Jennifer (Tim) and Liam, Andrew and Ethan, daughters Nora Umpherson and Judy (Bob) Myers and their family Anna (Afton) and Rachel. Eleanor will be fondly remembered by her sister Donna Barr, numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Eleanor’s family had the wonderful opportunity to spend time on Easter Weekend with her on her last visit to the family home.
Due to current restrictions, the service and interment in White Cemetery, Poland will be held privately for the family. Those wishing are asked to make memorial donations to White Cemetery, c/o 2644 South Lavant Road, Lanark, On K0G 1K0.
