Roy, Edwin Glynn – age 66, of Selma, Hants County passed away in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro on June 8, 2021 due to complications from diabetes. He was a son of the late Keith and Betty Roy, Rines Creek.
Glynn was the best husband, brother, uncle and friend anyone could have. He was a truck driver for many years working for Seaboard and Irving to name a couple. After he was done driving, he decided to be a driving instructor at Commercial Safety College in Masstown. He was also a professional photographer.
Glynn grew up in Shearwater where he became a lover of aircraft. He was an aircraft enthusiast to put it mildly. He loved to sing and play at any event whether it was a concert, benefit or jam session. He was the last male member of the Roy family.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Tina (Wood); sister, Janet (Gordon) Nash, Colby Village; favourite niece, Leann Nash (Nathan), Bible Hill; father-in-law, Dale Wood, Three Mile Plains; brother-in-law, Shaun Wood, Windsor; many cousins and friends.
Cremation has taken place.
In keeping with Glynn’s wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral service.
