Our love for you will never go away and Ed we know you will be beside us every day.
It is with profound sadness and unending love that we announce the loss of our amazing father and husband Edward Mattar.
Ed leaves behind his loving wife and soulmate of 25 years, Sheri; his beautiful, sweet daughter Perci and handsome, caring son Cashton.
Along with his father, Adel; brother, Rick; sisters Christine, Suzette and Evette; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his mother Siham.
Ed was the most devoted, loving, hardworking and hilarious husband and father. Ed wasn’t just a one in a million, he was a one in a lifetime. Every day he woke up to work hard, achieve, create and all along, making everyone that crossed his path smile or laugh. Or if it was Sheri, roll her eyes. Everything he did, every day, every minute and every second was for his family and friends. Ed loved to help others and loved fixing things and figuring out solutions to anything. His children meant everything to him and lit up his life watching them grow, watching their activities, watching them laughing with that glow in their eyes making fun of mom, watching them sleeping, watching them just being and of course WWE wrestling Cash anywhere at any time. Sheri had all of Ed’s heart and being. The joy it brought him watching her and Perci riding and caring for their horse, the hard work she put into the yard, watching her riding the lawnmower in her big sun hat. His unconditional love for all of his many pets and all animals was unique. He loved them and they loved him.
His loss has brought unimaginable loss and pain to many. May the thought of his glowing eyes and big beautiful smile give you comfort knowing you were a part of an amazing man’s life.
