Obituary of Edna Marie Parker
Parker, Edna Marie 80 of Annapolis Royal passed away peacefully February 23, 2021 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born in Annapolis Royal, she was a daughter of the late Arthur and Katherine (Marshall) Burrell. Edna was an avid gardener and enjoyed playing Bingo and watching her Christmas movies. In her younger years she was an avid hunter. Edna had a vast collection of earrings. She especially enjoyed her friendship with Betty and the members of the manor. Edna also was an avid bird watcher.
Edna is survived by her sons: Maurice (Connie) of Annapolis Royal; Raymond (Marcel) Parker-Gallant of Dieppe, NB; sisters: Elizabeth (Cyril) Johnson of Ontario; Ethel Warrington of Lequille; Ina Cromwell of Cambridge; Margaret (Tom) O’Donnell of New Minas; brothers: Gerald (Millie) Burrell of Kentville; James and Bruce both of Kentville; step grandson, Tyler; grandson, Damon Taylor; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Raymond; brother Arthur Jr. and three siblings in infancy.
Cremation has taken place under the care and direction of the Kaulbach Family Funeral Home, Annapolis Royal. A graveside service by invitation only will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 26, in Woodlawn Cemetery with Rev. Dr. Elizabeth Legassie officiating.
