NELISSEN, Dru Nicholas Jan – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Dru Nelissen on Saturday, April 10th, 2021, in his 70th year at Belleville General Hospital. Son of the late Jan and Nelly Nelissen. Beloved husband to Carolyn Goodwin-Nelissen. Loving father to Deanna Houser (Matt), Dustin Nelissen (Shanyn), and Kandi Thompson (Dean). Brother to Wayne Nelissen (Natalia), Pam Field (Patrick), and Janine Armstrong. Loving grandfather to Lauren Houser, Matthew Thompson, Patrick Thompson, Courtney Genereaux, and Mitchell Genereaux. Dru was a long time employee for the Royal Bank of Canada fulfilling many different positions throughout his career. Some of his life-long hobbies included, Kite Flying, Tai Chi and The Titanium Group. He will be dearly missed by many. In keeping with the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
