With Cherished memories to comfort us and hearts grateful for a life well lived, the family of Dorothy announces her passing on June 4, 2021 at the age of 95.
Dorothy will be lovingly remembered by her son, Richard (Lenore); grandchildren: Shelley (Andrew), Andrew (Sandra), and Lisa (Keith); great grandchildren, Hannah and Ava.
Dorothy was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Steve; daughter-in-law, Ruth; parents, William and Nellie Kohut; two sisters, Annie Shumlich and Olga Kramm; brothers-in-law, Anthony Shumlich and Ed Kramm.
Dorothy was happiest when visiting with her family and her life will be quietly honored with a small service.
Our family extends our sincere thanks, for the care that was provided by CapitalCare and the Youville Home in St. Albert.
A Private Prayer Service will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 7:00 p.m. A Private Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Parish, with a Private Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. A recording of the Funeral Mass will be available on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
Memorial Donations may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
