Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing of Dorothy Rauch (Gaskell) of West Kelowna, BC on September 15, 2021 at the age of 94 years. She is survived by her children Garry (Linda), Bruce (Monica). She is also survived by five grandchildren, Kory, Kobie, Stephanie, Steven and Brent as well as six great grandchildren, Kyler, Keton, Kaden, Ethan, Brielle and Brie, her brother Roy Gaskell as well as numerous relatives and many friends.
Dorothy was an extremely kind, empathetic woman who cared tirelessly about others. For such a small woman she displayed great emotional and physical strength beyond her stature as well as a very strong devotion to the Lord.
Dorothy was pre deceased by her husband (Gordon), son (Darrell), two sisters (Evelyn and May) and two brothers (Bert and Arnold)
LOVE LIVES ON
Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on
And cherished memories never fade because a loved one’s gone
Those we love can never be more than a thought apart
For as long as there is memory, they’ll live on in the heart
