Murray, Doris
August 24, 1933 – December 22, 2021
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Doris Murray at the age of 88 on December 22, 2021, with her family by her side, at the Carleton Place Hospital.
Survived by her children, Rick (Daphne), Debbie (Allan), Bob (Laurie), Gord (Maria), Nancy (Geoff), and grandchildren Trevor, Amanda, Leanna, Laura, Brad, Raven, and Soliel, and many great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband Bill, parents Martha and Charlie Walker, brother Jim, and sisters Ivy and Violet.
Doris grew up in Montreal where she raised her five children before moving to the Ottawa Valley. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and friend who had such a great sense of humor. Her laugh and smile would light up a room. She spent the last many years at the Carleton Place Terrace and will be missed my many of the wonderful staff there.
A private celebration of life will be held on Mothers Day, 2022.
We can’t say enough about the nurses and staff, especially her doctor, at the Carleton Place Memorial Hospital, thank you.
