Scott, Dora Helena – 94, Springhill, passed away Friday, June 4, 2021, surrounded by her family in All Saints Hospital, Springhill. Dora was born in Springhill on January 23rd, 1927 to parents Jonathan and Margaret Ann (Greenhow) Thomas. Her interests were varied but included bowling, Springhill Seniors Centre, quilting, dancing, music, gardening, skating, reading and doing puzzles. Dora loved spending time with her grandsons and watching them play baseball. She enjoyed watching Blue Jays baseball, curling and figure skating on TV. She is survived by her three children, Judy (Eddie) Goodie, Mount Uniacke; Nancy (Peter) Watson and David (Carolyn), both of Kolbec; two grandsons, Chris (Robyn) Goodie and Gregory Goodie. She was predeceased by her husband, Garnet Cecil Scott; brothers, George, Jim and Ingle Greenhow; sisters, Hannah Moore and Daisy Thompson. Arrangements are in the care of MacDiarmid’s Funeral Home & Crematorium, Oxford. A private family funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 8 and will be live streamed at www.mmcfunerals.com
