Obituary of Donna Charlton
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Donna Lynn Charlton (born Appleton) of Lloydminster SK on Saturday, March 13th, 2021 at the age of 62 to an extremely aggressive form of untreatable cancer. She passed away peacefully in the Lloydminster Hospital with family by her side.
Donna is survived by: daughter, Shannon (Ryan) Charlton-Wilm; granddaughter, Taylor (Troy Robinson) Charlton; two great-grandchildren, Raleina and Julius; mother, Christine McFadyen; sister, Dorothy Appleton; brothers, Darrel Appleton, and Darren (Jodie) Appleton; and sister-in-law, Linda Appleton. Donna will be greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and her very dear friends.
She was predeceased by: daughter, Tammy Charlton; brother, Dale Appleton; father, Fred Appleton; and step-dad Barrie McFadyen.
The family would like to thank the Lloydminster Hospital and the nurses of palliative care for taking care of Donna and making sure she was comfortable in her final days.
As per Donna’s wishes there will be no public service. A private family gathering will be held once COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
