Lay, Donald
March 18 1929 – December 28th 2021
Passed away peacefully at the age of 92 surrounded by his family at his home, the Carleton Place Terrace. Survived by his wife Jean lay (Banning), sons Kim lay and Roy lay (Eileen) daughter Ann Done (Ray-deceased). Grandsons Kevin (Tracy) Jeremy (Colleen). Granddaughters Cindy (Shane) and Joanne (Ian). Great-grandchildren Haliee Grace, Brayden, Brooke, Haley, Kaitlyn, Ethan and Sheridan. Sister Florence Minnie Russell (Bob-deceased). Predeceased by his sisters Helen and Irene Currie (Alan) and his brother Ken. A celebration of life to follow at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to a living tribute by planting a tree in Donald’s memory or making a donation to the Carleton Place & District Memorial Hospital Foundation. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Carleton Place Terrace for caring for Don with such love, he truly loved you all, and to Bayshore home care for helping grandpa as well.
