With the heaviest of hearts we announce the untimely passing of our beloved father David Edward (Dave) Mouland on December 24, 2021 at home surrounded by his family.
Born on November 16, 1963 to Ellis Mouland and Helen Ingraham he was «the baby» of 4 children, pre-deceased by his father and step-father Stewart Ingraham. Survived by his wife, Roberta Mouland, his two daughters, Sasha Mouland, and Jenny Musgrave (John) along with his two grandsons, Brody and Breton. Also survived by his mother, his brother Eli Mouland (Jiong), and sisters Darlene Mouland and Angelia Mouland. He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews whom he loved very dearly.
Dad was the strongest, most supportive, fun-loving man I know, he fought cancer and without a wavering of hope and faith was told he beat it. It returned with a vengeance but he always reassured us that he was not afraid, he was at peace, and his father was waiting for him in heaven.
Dad loved to cook and worked his whole life doing so. He was a big fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs and was often found with his second family, the Burtons, cheering them on. Dad also loved his music, we dubbed him the Music Man, and his tunes could often be heard from a mile away. Dad will be missed by many but as he told us, we live in his heart, and he will forever live on in ours.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no service at this time but there will be a graveside service held at a later date. Thank you to Dr. Plourde and the Cancer Centre. Donations may be made to the Cancer Centre or Palliative Care.
