Cynthia’s Obituary
Pothier, Cynthia Marie – 59, of South Side, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the QEII Halifax Infirmary. Born on December 9, 1961 she was a daughter of Dorothy and the late Clyde Nickerson. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; son, Damien and grandson, Brexten; mother, Dorothy; siblings, Deloris Nickerson, Sheila Nickerson, Paula Nickerson and Wayne Nickerson; several nieces and nephews. Besides her father, Clyde, Cynthia was predeceased by an infant daughter, Venelle. Cynthia loved spending time with grandson, Brexten, who brought her so much joy. She enjoyed crafts and making handmade quilts, she also enjoyed attending Ox Hauls, truck relays and car races. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, Barrington. A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 30, at 2:00 pm from the H.M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington with Pastor Shaun Hatfield officiating. Due to Covid-19 restriction, seating may be limited to 150 people and social distancing guidelines must be followed (Immediate family will be given priority for seating). Due to limited seating the service will be live streamed the day of the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Diabetic Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation, White Lily Cemetery or any charity of choice.
