1961 ~ 2021
Riverview NB, ~ Colette Cormier, 59, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, July 15th, 2021.
Born in North Bay ON, she was the daughter of Mr Rhéal Cormier and the late Mary Jennings.
Colette loved the simple things in life, like Nature, Gardening, Photography (nearly as many photos of her behind her camera as her in front of one), animals, laughter, quality time and conversations with family and friends.
She is Selfless, Compassionate, caring, always looking out for others before herself.
She was Strong, when things were difficult, she would say, “dig deep” into the soil and roots, “dig deep” into your heart and your soul, “dig deep” and find your inner strength, she didn’t just say these words and not only lived by them but she instilled that strength in others.
Colette liked music and played the Native American Flute
A light to all she met, while her body is gone her light and spirit remain within and around those whose lives she touched.
Colette will be sadly missed by her daughter, Chantelle Lavergne; her son, Nick Lavergne; father, Rhéal Cormier; step-mother, Joyce Alexander; two brothers, Len and Paul Cormier; two sisters, Denise and Michelle Cormier; two step-brothers, Sean and Craig Alexander; two aunts, Donna Cormier and Tilda Anderson; two uncles, Paul Cormier and Wes Anderson; two nieces, Rachelle Cormier and Alysia James as well as countless friends and extended family.
In respect of Colette’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no Funeral service, a Celebration of her life will be held for the family and friends at a later date.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the SPCA of your choice or the Ovarian Cancer Society
