Peacefully at the Parisien Manor on Sunday, September 26, 2021, Claude Seguin of Cornwall, formerly of Alexandria; at 83 years. Beloved husband of Lucille (Dextras), and the late Therese Massia Seguin. Loving father of Julie, Chantal and Joanne Seguin, and step-daughter Nicole Hitsman (Jamie) and step-son John Bergeron (Monica). Proud grandfather and great-grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Claude will be fondly remembered by his brothers Maurice (Suzanne), Roland (Anne), Richard (Brenda) and Bruce (Joanne) and by his sisters Marie Claire Seguin Roy (Clermont), Lynn Seguin Legault (Late Norman), and Lyse Seguin Chenier (Pierre). Claude is predeceased by his sister Shirley Seguin Godard (late John) and his parents Lionel and Eva (Lalonde) and step-mother Marie Claire Hill (nee Lawrence). Many nieces and nephews also, mourn the loss of Claude. Funeral arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd, 114 Main Street South, Alexandria, 613-525-2772. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday October 1, 2021 at 11 am in the St. Finnan’s Basilica. Urn burial to follow in the cimétiere Sacré Coeur. Masks and physical distancing are required at all gatherings. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
