Mueller, Claire Amelia Maria
The family of Claire Mueller (22), of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan announce her sudden passing on August 31, 2021. Claire leaves to cherish her memory her parents George and Joanne Mueller as well as her brother Maxwell Mueller.
She will be forever loved by her Aunts, Uncles and cousins: Denis and Ingrid Painchaud (Sherwood Park,AB.)-Nathaniel and Becca Painchaud, Gabriel Painchaud and Jordyn Berezan ; Lise and Scott Kalinski (Vernon,BC.)- Emanuel Kalinski and Jorell Kalinski; Guy and Heidi Painchaud(Toronto,Ont.)- Roéne Painchaud; Sylvia and Robert Regnier(Saskatoon, SK)-Gabriel Regnier(Saskatoon); Daniel Regnier and Lena Kazan (Saskatoon, SK)-Raphael and Giselle Regnier; Angela Regnier and Nick Faldo (Calgary,AB)- Hannah Regnier-Falvo; Maria Regnier and Rodney John(Calgary,AB)-James and Gabriela Regnier-John; Carmen Wright(Langley, BC.)-Ryan Wright(Langley, BC)- Ethan Thorpe and Alena Froehler; Chelsie Wright and Kevin Warn(Langley, BC)-Harper and Harrison Warn. Claire also held a special place in the hearts of a large number of Great Aunts, Great Uncles and cousins; Adrien and Denise Deschamps and family; Muriel and Dennis Kasun and family; Estelle and Merle Dicus and family; Diana and Dave Browne and family. Yvette and Donald Prefontaine and family; Donald and Simone Bussiere and family; Aline and Phillip Denis and family; Diane and Rene Labreque and family; Michelle and Jack Danylczuk and family.
Claire did not have a large circle of friends but those she had she cherished and always made a point of keeping them close to her; Kia Jimmy(Cleveland, Ohio); Marissa St.Amand(Saskatoon, Sk); Marie Hardouin(Montreal, Que); Indiana Gaudet(Bellevue,Sk)as well as many more: Murray and Camille St.Amand, Elodie Pastural and Pierre Hardouin, Anne Hardouin, Gedeon Isezerano, Xavier St.Amand, Dominic Gauthier, Jenn Ward, Ray and Irene Lepage and Denise Lepage as well as many more.
Born in Saskatoon, Sk., Claire attended Ecole canadienne française from Kindergarten until grade seven then continued her education at Pavillion Gustave Dubois graduating with a bilingual diploma. She loved languages and had been learning French, English and Spanish since kindergarten. She was fortunate to participate in a German exchange program with Marie Hardouin in their grade 11 year. Her wonderful host family Tilman, Bettina, Hannah, Ruth and David Ickes remain in contact with our family still. Throughout her school years Claire was busy with many activities, competitive dancing, synchronized swimming, Clarinette lessons, Scuba diving lessons as well as her much loved Art lessons with her brother and friends Marissa and Kia. She always excelled at everything she tried and had completed her lifeguard level, won prizes for school science projects as well as awards for her art projects.
Claire graduated in June of 2021 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics with Great Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan. Although she loved languages and phonetics her passion was her art. She was very excited to be accepted to Emily Carr University this fall and was preparing for this next adventure in her life. This past summer, Claire was thrilled to get a job as steward on the Prairie Lily river boat here is Saskatoon. She loved her job and there wasn’t a day she didn’t come home smiling telling us all about her great co-workers; Mike, Joan, Burt, Louis, Steve, Brooklyn, Janet, Joan, Dale and Karen as well as the never ending adventures shared that day.
Claire loved to travel and had an opportunity to go to many countries in her short life, but her favourite place to visit was always Wakaw Lake, Saskatchewan to stay with her grandparents and any family who was there.
Claire was predeceased by and in the loving arms of her two grandfathers, Alfred Mueller and Clair Painchaud.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held at St.Philip Neri Parish Church (1902 Munroe Ave.S. Saskatoon,SK. ) Monday September 13, 2021 at 10:00am. A come and go tea to follow at 2:30-4:30 pm aboard the Prairie Lily river cruise boat (Located on Spadina Crescent East across from the Nutrien Playground).
No plans for interment at this time. In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to The Hospice at Glengarda or charity of your choice.Thank you for sharing in celebrating Claire’s life.
