Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christina Jean Hore (nee Rutherford) of Owen Sound in her 95th year. Peacefully at the Lee Manor Nursing Home in Owen Sound, on June 13, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Bill Hore. Loving Mother of Ian Hore of Sauble Beach and Donna and her husband Michael Haley of Owen Sound. Treasured Grannie of Erin (Kris), Carri (Tylor), and Dana (Devon). Proud Great-Grannie of Ryann, Avery, Jaxon, and Myles. Dear sister-in-law of Marion Carnahan (nee Hore). She will be remembered by many nieces & nephews Predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Ian Rutherford, brother Ken Rutherford (Patricia Haley), nieces Susan Duggan (Rutherford) and Susan Stewart (Carnahan) and nephews Michael Carnahan and Carr Rutherford.
A special thank you to Dr.Veenstra and to the staff at Lee Manor for the past years of compassionate care given to Christina.
Cremation has taken place and a private family funeral service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation or Lee Manor Resident’s Fund would be appreciated.
