At the Palace Long Term Care on Sunday, January 3, 2021. Christena Hazel Sova (née Smith) of Alexandria, formerly of Glen Roy; age 99 years. Beloved wife of the late Bruce Sova. Loving father of Douglas (Helen) of Alexandria, Gordon (Catherine) of Don Mills, James (Pam) of Odessa and Robert (Kim) of Manotick. Dear daughter of the late Duncan Smith and the late Bertha E. MacKeracher. Also survived by 5 grandchildren Emily Jackson (Carl), Amy, Rachel Fuchs (Joe), Ryan (Demi Allen), Dylan and 2 great grandchildren Maisie and Charlotte. Funeral arrangements under the care and direction of Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. Alexandria (613-525-2772). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Christena a tree will be planted in a Memory Woods.
