It is with profound sorrow that the family of the late Cheryl Beverly Gabriel announce her passing on December 21, 2020 at the Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, ON at the age of 41 years.
She will never be forgotten and loved throughout all eternity by all who had the distinct honor to know her, especially the love of her life and husband Jason Gabriel; sons: Austin and Kenny Gabriel; parents Paul and Carolyn Grenier; siblings: Sharon (Trevor) Grenier-Wood; Brian (Heather Specht) Grenier; Bethany (David) Parsons; nieces: Kayla, Natalie, Lilly, Nikki, Megan, Casey, Natalie; nephews: Carter, Ashton, Michael, David, Eli; brother-in-law Jamie (Colleen) Gabriel; sisters-in-law: Liza Gabriel, Myra Gabriel; father-in-law Michael Gabriel and his wife Verna. Of the long list of Aunts and Uncles from both her and Jason’s family she had a unique special bond with her Aunt Kathy, Uncle Keith (Aunt Carol), Aunt Michelle (Uncle Danny). Cheryl will also be remembered and loved by a long list of cousins and friends.
She was pre-deceased by her Mother-in-law Zita Gabriel; Grandmother: Carrie Styles; Grandparents John & Nellie Grenier; Grandmother Rosie Edison; Grandparents-in-law Billy & Clara Gabriel; Uncles: Junior Styles and Roger Grenier.
Anyone who had the privilege of meeting her for more than just a passing hello, couldn’t help but to see the extraordinary person she was and her ability to bring sunshine to their lives. Chances were, they had a friend for life.

A celebration of life will take place on Friday, August 20, 2021 between the hours of 6:00 – 8: 00 pm, 192 Queen Street, Stephenville, NL. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Stephen’s Parish, West Street, Stephenville, NL with the Reverend Canon Dawn Barrett officiating.
