Charles «Biff» Bonnell
July 9, 1941- October 27, 2021
Charles, age 80, was born in Halifax, the son of Marjorie and Bill,
brother to Andrea, and Dad to Stephanie.
To most, we know him as Biff. Biff spent most of his childhood years
on Zwicker’s Island. He loved a good outdoor adventure; boating,
fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, diving, waterskiing, downhill skiing,
he did it all. Biff was a jokester and loved playing tricks on people.
He was curious about how things worked and that led him to many
different jobs over the years. He was a welder, wharf builder, island
caretaker and knew how to fix just about anything.
He spent his adult life in Martin’s River, Mahone Bay and
Clearland. He could be found boating, lobster fishing and going for
drives. Later in life he discovered cruising down south and absolutely
loved it. He would welcome anyone in for a drink of rum and
storytelling from the good ole days. He has fond memories of hunting
with his buddies at the goose shack. His dog Buddy was always by
Dad’s side no matter where he went.
There will be a private, family graveside service at the Camp Hill
Cemetery.
