Obituary
Cathy was the life of the party. She loved music, dancing, gardening, doing ancestry related research, British mystery shows and a good glass of wine. We are heartbroken to announce her passing on September 21, 2021. Cathy was born in Windsor, Ontario to Lois Wakeman (Blewett) and Raymond Wakeman. She is survived by her mother Lois, her wildly adoring children and spouses Amy Lea and Mark Heyck, and Jordy Lea and Amy Cutts. She was a beloved Baboo to grandchildren Alexander and Samuel Heyck. She will be missed tremendously by brothers and spouses Jim and Ruth Wakeman, Don and Brenda Wakeman and Ken (son of William Wakeman) and Josee Wakeman and nieces and nephews Ryan, Heather, Kyle, Lauren, Monica and Eric and, her cousins and extended family. Cathy was a friend to many; people loved to be in her company. She valued compassion and humanity and was a feminist, socialist and environmentalist. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all that knew her.
