Obituary of Carole Gilbert
GILBERT, Carole (nee Henderson)
It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Carole, after a courageous battle, on April 1, 2021 at the age of 81. She is the beloved wife of Ken for 60 years. Loving Mother to Mike (Vanessa) and Steven (Paula). Cherished Grandma to Dilyn and Alex. She will be missed by her siblings Roy and Gerry and their families.
Carole was compassionate, caring and always there for you. She had a great sense of humour and would always make you laugh. You could often find her sitting in her recliner doing her crossword puzzles. She cherished her time with her grandkids.
In accordance with Carole’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL HOME, (905) 937-4444. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Niagara or the Walker Family Cancer Centre.
