Obituary of Captain Curtis Mitchell
Captain Curtis Mitchell of Burin Bay Arm passed peacefully away at his home on Friday August 13, 2021 surrounded by his five children Faye, Pam, Heather, Joe and Ralph & special friends.
Leaving to mourn grandchildren Ian, Grant, Meghan, Melissa, Richelle, Jennifer, Tim, Robyn, Mitchell, Nancy and Jennifer; 12 great- grandchildren also beloved son-in-laws Jake, Rick, and Jim; daughters-in-law Rosalind and Sheila.
A course well charted, he touched many lives and directed a well run ship including his last sail.
Family will be accepting visitors Saturday August 14, 2021 from 2-4PM and 7-9PM & Sunday August 15, 2021 from 1-3PM.
Funeral service will take place on Monday August 16, 2021 from Bethany United Church, Burin Bay Arm at a time to be announced at a later date with interment following at Bethany United Cemetery, Burin Bay Arm, NL.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions everyone must wear a mask, sanitize and sign in when entering the funeral home. There will be a walk thru visitation the maximum number of people in the visitation room at one time (including staff and family) should be the number that can be accommodated with physical distancing, according to the room size, but not exceed 50. No food or beverages permitted. Thanking you in advance for respecting the regulations. Together we can do this.
