Obituary of Brian Dennis Killian
Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend, Byron passed away peacefully with family by his side at Grace Hospice on Wednesday, March 17, 2021. Byron will be lovingly remembered by wife Pat; daughters Jenn and Nikki; sons-in-law Dustin and Nick; grandsons Xander and Malaki; brother Darcy; sisters Laura and Donna; and the numerous friends he gathered throughout his adventurous life. He was predeceased by parents Dennis and Evelyn (nee Gordon), and brothers Terry and Wayne. Byron was a mentor, a big brother, a teacher, a confidant, and someone you always wanted to have a conversation with. He showed his love through action; he loved a good piece of duct tape and never threw anything away. Byron was a prankster, and kept his humour to the end. He always had time for you, and loved to play games while listening to his record collection. The family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Allan Blair Palliative team and the staff at Grace Hospice. Their support and help allowed Byron to spend as much time at home as possible and to pass his final days in comfort. In lieu of a service, the family will be holding a celebration of life later this year, date to be determined.
