It is with great sadness that the family of Brian Gilbert Boucher announce his passing after a brief illness on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at the age of 61.
He was predeceased by his brother Richard; his parents Gilbert and Alice; and his brother-in-law Mervin Sr. He will be sadly missed by his son Kyle Hendry; grandson Kaiden; his 11 sisters Shirley, Anna (Roy), Lorna, Sharon, June, Sandy (Jacques), Faye, Lisa (Peter), Barb (Richard), Gail, Brenda (Eric); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Brian was a very hard worker and always went above and beyond for his family, friends and the residents of his condo community who were a second family to him. He was an avid Riders fan and one of his favourite highlights at the game was sitting in the end zone and when he knew the camera was on him, then he made sure to signal a field goal by raising his arms.
Our lives have forever changed. We will never forget the wonderful, loving person he was to us throughout the years. Brian was the type of brother who was there for all his sisters without fail. He was our protector! Our hero! Our brother!
A family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
