Blanche Emma Wells
November 28th, 1928 – May 1st, 2021
Passed away peacefully at Lakeside Homes on Saturday, May 1st, 2021, Blanche Emma Wells with her daughter Dora and her niece Gladys by her side at the age of 92.
Predeceased by her parents John and Jemima Coles, first husband Wilfred Hodder, second husband William Wells, brothers Jasper, Silas, Samuel and Garfield, sisters Geraldine and Edith, brothers-in-law Pastor Willie Angel and Sam Hoddinott.
Left to mourn with fond loving memories are her daughter Dora Butler (Wayne) of Fort McMurray, AB; brother Roland (Christine) of Noggin Cove, sisters Myrtle of Deer Lake, Ettie (Lawrence Goodyear) of Carmanville, Hazel of Carmanville, a very special niece Gladys Nippard who went above and beyond in all of the things she did for her and Blanche appreciated and loved her dearly. A special wonderful friend Sharon Parsons, many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Mom was a loving, caring, devoted, and dedicated Mother. She had a wonderful dry sense of humor and everyone knew that about her. She was always there and this is how she deserves to be remembered, not only by me but all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.
Resting at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Carmanville on Monday, May 3rd from 12:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. Funeral service will take place on Tuesday, May 4th at 1:00 P.M. at Bethel Pentecostal Church by invitation only due to the Covid-19 Pandemic.
