William “Bill” John Pointon of Chesley, formerly of Hanover, passed away at Hanover & District Hospital on Monday, August 30, 2021, at 90.
Beloved husband of Barb, father to Christopher (Kim) of Owen Sound, Eric (Wendy) Wyles of Midland, and Lynn (Jon Underbakke) of Durham. Bill was a proud grandpa to 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. He will be missed by his brother Lou Pointon of Miller Lake and brother-in-law Jim Cowan of Woodslea.
Bill is predeceased by his son Kirk Wyles, sister Nancy Cowan, brother Gerry Pointon, and sister-in-law Doreen Pointon.
Public visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Friday, September 3, 2021, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Please register using RSVP on Bill’s memorial page at www.cameronfuneralhomes.com
A private family service will take place with internment in Hanover Cemetery.
