Beverley Annett Sisco nee Barnier 2021

Beverley, a creative, courageous and loving woman, has completed her earthly journey. In addition to being a devoted mother, wife and grandmother, Beverley served as a member of the Holy Names HS Parent Council in the late 1980’s, and later became a much valued member of the Families First Support team for the next several years. Her beautiful hand crafted ceramic cherubs and ornaments became, and continue to be, an annual Christmas tradition at the funeral home. Beverley was also a volunteer at Hospice, providing comfort and support to those in need. Beverley will be fondly remembered for her love of crafts, notably, ceramics, stained glass, paper toll, scrapbooking, and her beautifully handwritten cards. Beverley’s strong will and spirit was exemplified by how she overcame polio in her youth and in her ability to battle through a severe stroke in her early 70’s.
She was the beloved wife of Sam (2020) for 58 years. Wonderful mother to Ross (Lisa), Samuel (Jeanette), Joseph (Norma) and Maria Facchinato (John). Cherished grandmother of Sabrina, Jordan, Jeremiah (Akiliah), Matthew (Daigo), Cameron, Devon, Jake and Baby Franco (2004) and great grandmother to Asaiah, with whom she enjoyed lunch dates, shopping trips and craft parties. Reunited with her parents Robert Barnier and Gladys (Steers). Sister of Lawrence, George and wife Margaret of Barrie, Rose Garneau and husband Ernie of Brantford, Kay Desjarlais and late husband Larry of Barrie, Bernard, Wilfred, Phyllis, Teresa, Bernice, Kate and Frank. Loving Aunt to Barbara. Special cousin to Aunt Flora Prantera and her daughter Susie. Kindred spirit of her special friend Kirsten and loving friend to Stephanie and Josie.
If you so desire, donations can be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, and The Arts Council of Windsor. Special thanks to RPN Mandy and the PSW’s and administrators on the 3rd Floor at The Villages of St. Clair Oldcastle residence and the dedicated team at Windsor Regional Hospital. Let us all smile as we picture Mom and Dad together for eternity, watching the Sound of Music before they complete the crossword puzzle together.
