Barb passed peacefully on Saturday, March 6, 2021 in the Maples Unit of Lanark Lodge in Perth. She leaves behind her son Leonard and daughters Faith Urquhart (Randy) and Ruth Bush. As well her adored grandsons Matthew Urquhart (Brandi) and Andrew Urquhart (Kim). She is predeceased by husband James Earl Bush (December 1, 2007). The daughter of Hilton and Harriet Dorman of Carleton Place. Barb, born September 11, 1940, was a caring wife, mother and grandmother who loved her family very much. She will be greatly missed. Barb’s family wants to extend deep gratitude to the staff of the Maples Unit of Lanark Lodge in Perth. They showed considerable compassion and humanity when caring for our mother. The professionalism and dedication of all the staff, especially during these difficult times, cannot be understated. They deserve all our thanks! In lieu of flowers donations to the recreation department of Lanark Lodge 115 Christie Lake Rd, Perth, Ontario would be appreciated (www.lanarkcounty.ca/en/lanark-lodge-long-term-care/donations.aspx). Finally thank you to the Blair & Son Funeral Home for their help and compassion. A service will be organized for Barb once the current COVID-19 restrictions are lifted.
