MOORE, Barbara Jean (nee Kleinsteuber)
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Barb Moore, at the Kingston General Hospital on Friday April 2nd, 2021 after a brief illness. Barb Moore, of Belleville was in her 71st year. She is predeceased by her parents Roy and Bertha Kleinsteuber, as well as her beloved husband Donald Moore. She is forever loved by her children Charles Moore (Sherry) of Belleville and Stephanie Kearsey (Richard) of Ottawa, and her grandchildren Jacob, Mackenzie and Jackson. Barb is also survived by her sisters Rose Powell (late Francis), Shirley Kleinsteuber, Linda Hoyland , her brother Ken Kleinsteuber (Judy), and sister-in-law Tina Kleinsteuber (late Floyd).
Barb was a long time member of Eastminster United Church, often greeting her fellow church-goers for church services. She also volunteered with the Alzheimer’s Society and the Belmont Nursing Home for many years. Her kindness, compassion and caring personality will be fondly remembered by all who met her. The family would like to extend their gratitude and thanks to the Care Team at KGH- Kidd 6 for their professionalism and excellent treatment of Barb during her short time in their care.
Cremation arrangements have been made with the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588). A Celebration of Barb’s Life will be announced at a later date, once COVID-19 restrictions have eased. In her memory donations to Eastminster United Church, BGH Oncology or Alzheimer’s Society of Hastings-Prince Edward are appreciated.
