Ashleigh Nichole Lane, 34, of Knoxville, began her eternal life with Christ on Monday, September 6, 2021. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Evelyn and Fred French, and Jean and Buddy Lane. She is survived by her son, Maddax Hensley; mother, Wendy Lane Hopkins and Janie Hopkins, parents of Jakob Greenwood. Her father and step-mother, Kenny and Kim Lane, parents of her brother, Evan Lane. Her sister, Monica Cooper, mother of Nolan Cooper and Nataleigh Cunningham. She will be endlessly loved by aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family; Monty and Terry Carter, Janice and Nick French, Ronnie Lane, Darlene and Millard Bell, Abbiegail Glenn, Kristen and Scott Carter, Miranda and Eric French, Mandy and Matt Lane, Kelsey Lane, Kate and Mia Carter, Hayden and Holden French, Emma Rose Lane, Jerry Townsend, Jo Thress, Lisa Smith, Matt Allen, and Noah Allen; and God Father, Michael Holder. A loving and nurturing mother to Maddax, she was so proud of him and the future he has ahead. Always up for an adventure, Ashleigh loved life and having a good time, she was adored by her family and always went out of her way to share kindness with everyone around her. Family was always first for Ashleigh, she was a host to most, and made vacations into celebrated memories. She served as a protector to those she loved, especially her sister who she shared the journey of life with. During the harshest challenges, she sustained her faith in the Lord and unwavering spirit as a model for all. Pallbearers will be Scott Carter, Evan Lane, Josh Cunningham, Matt Allen, Noah Allen, Hayden French, Holden French, and Josh Cooper. Respects can be paid at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike on Saturday, September 11, from 2:00pm to 4:00pm, with a service to follow. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, September 12, at 2:00pm at Lea Springs Church Cemetery, 2023 Rutledge Pike, Blaine, TN.
