Arleen’s Obituary
With heavy hearts, the family of Arleen Marilyn Burtenshaw announce her sudden passing, at 86 years young, on April 7, 2021. Arleen was born on September 4, 1934 in Petrolia, Ontario, lived in Hamilton, Ontario for most of her life until moving to Paris, Ontario in 2016. Lovingly remembered and already terribly missed by her husband of almost 46 years, Edward Burtenshaw, her son Scott Robinson, who she loved fiercely and was so proud of and daughter-in-law Laura Robinson who was so honoured to call her Mom. Our Saturday night card games will never be the same, our home now is missing a special glow.
Arleen was an adoring Grams to Danny Freeman, Dave Pacey, Ricky Freeman, Alex Robinson, Kate Robinson and Ryan Gibson. Aunt Arleen will be sadly missed by her loving nieces, Faith (Robert) Rundle and Sheila Robinson as well as nephew, Jim (Carol) Howlett. She also sadly leaves behind her 4 legged grandkids Ben & Tanner who were a constant source of entertainment to her. Arleen was predeceased by her parents Roy and Donna Howlett, her brother Gary Howlett and daughter-in-law Janet Robinson.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, Paris, Ontario. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and subsequent restrictions on gathering a Private Family Service will be held. Arleen’s Memorial Service will be broadcast via Facebook Live on Saturday April 17, 2021 at 2 p.m. Please visit the DWAYNE D. BUDGELL Funeral Home Facebook page and «Like» the page.
