It is with great sadness that we
announce Allison’s passing. He died on Thursday, December
16, 2021 at The Moncton Hospital. Al had been fighting complications
from diabetes and cancer.
He is survived by his wife of 50
years, Janis; his two children, Ryan (Denise) and Carmen (Troy); he
was blessed with 5 wonderful grandchildren, Anna, Hayden and Fayth
(children of Carmen and Troy) and Brooklyn and Reese (children of Ryan
and Denise).
In addition to his parents, Al
was predeceased by his older brother, Frank. And is survived by his
two sisters, Karen Edwards and Marni Johnson; as well as several
nieces and nephews.
Al was born in Sackville, NB on
August 1, 1947 to Ralph and Mabel (Paddy) Fullerton. He worked as a
project manager at Royal Door, and retired in 2014. He has lived in
Shediac since 2002, He was an avid motorcyclist in his younger days,
he loved to sail with his father-in-law, was an avid sports enthusiast
who golfed, played ball, hockey, and coached minor baseball and hockey
when his children were younger. He loved to watch all of his
grandchildren play sports and participate in their activities, He was
so proud of them, and loved to spend time with them and his
family.
The family wishes to thank the
Shediac Extra Mural Team for their compassion, patience and quality of
care. Also, thanks to the staff of the 4200 unit at The Moncton
Hospital who took exceptional care of Al during his final
days.
By Al’s request
cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation hours or
funeral service.
Arrangements have been entrusted
to the compassionate care of Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain
Road, Moncton (858-1995).

the Shediac Branch of Extra Mural, The Canadian Cancer Society or
